New York, NY | Kat Wildish (Peridance, Gibney, Harlem School of the Arts) | Kat’s classes follow the same syllabus for the whole week. Sudents can really hone their technique without being bewildered by new combos all the time. Her Absolute Beginner class is derivative of the her Advanced Beginner class. So if you can only make it to an Absolute Beg class, you still get a good class, likely with some offered modifications if something is “too easy”. | Kat teaches classes Monday-Saturday with privates (by appt.) all day Sundays. Hello! I teach adult ballet classes and they are open or people can take regularly and perform!
If you want to add it, it’s called Multi-Cultural Dance Center (we really go by MCDC) and it’s in Hesperia, California, US. I don’t know what other details you would want, but it’s $15 to drop in and all levels are welcome, including pointe, if they’re already en pointe. It’s Mondays at 4pm-5pm and the Lyrical class after (5pm-6pm) is open to adults also. Same price, all levels welcome. Same also goes for Modern Technique (Wednesdays at 6pm) and Improv (Wednesdays at 7pm) – different teacher, same price. I’d love to see new faces, even if they’re just dropping in. Hesperia is basically between Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I found your blog through Dorky Dancing! I’m subscribing to yours too. I love seeing all the adult ballet love!

I have taught Adult Ballet in Bradenton Florida for about 17 years. Our group is called Dancing thru the Years, with a Facebook page with the same name. Also I helped form a fantastic (now huge) group in S.E. Michigan in Farmington Hills led by Christina Kammuller a former principal ballerina from Brazil. You can find Christina on Facebook also. She offers around 20 or so classes a week, all adults, all levels with also very often visiting professionals who need to keep their toe in while they are in town.
